Unveiling Meaning and Satisfaction: The Path to Purposeful and Fulfilling Work
A personal definition that is influenced by the surrounding society and the culture in which the individual grew up.
Because we devote most of our day and energy resources to work time, we would like our actions to have some meaning. Meaning can come from a positive influence on the other, a gain of money, a sense of success, from the work processes, from love for the profession, the types of relationships that are created, the status or anything else that is important or significant for that person. Employers know this and jobs or professions with social and climatic significance often receive lower wages.
Without meaning, stress and tension burnout can be much more noticeable.
Since the industrial revolution and the division of labor as a machine into small pieces, the cutting, reactivity and also the payment of money for hours of a person's life have removed the meaning from the work processes
In today's working world where the requirement for the employee to manage his own work processes - the sense of responsibility and the management of the personal processes and of others increase and strengthen the element of satisfaction and the sense of meaning.
We are generalizing, but for the most part the jobs with the highest salaries are in an opposite equation to their social contribution and the higher the salary, the social contribution of the position is non-existent, low and sometimes even harmful to society and the climate.
